Prayer
O God, who bestowed Your grace upon Saint Pio and wondrously distinguished him by allowing him to share in the sufferings of Your Son, grant me, through his intercession, the grace that I so greatly need.
Above all, grant that I may be conformed to the death of Jesus, so that I may attain the glory of the Resurrection.

Prayer to Saint Pio
O glorious Saint Pio, teach us humility of heart, so that we may be counted among the little ones of the Gospel, to whom the Father has promised to reveal the mysteries of His Kingdom.
Help us to pray without growing weary. Grant us eyes of faith, so that we may see the face of Jesus in the poor and the suffering.
Strengthen us in times of struggle and trial, and if we fall, grant us the grace to experience the joy of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Grant us, following your example, to honor Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our Mother. Accompany us on our earthly journey toward our heavenly homeland, with our hearts filled with the hope of one day contemplating forever the glory of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

O God, we beseech You with complete trust, for You are our Father and You listen attentively to the prayers of Your children.
We bow before You with confidence, asking You to grant us, above all, the grace of faith and conversion and, if it be Your will, all the graces we ask through the intercession of Saint Pio.

Saint Pio, Priest
O God, You called the young Francesco Forgione to become a priest in Your Church.
We pray to You for all priests to whom You have entrusted the Eucharist, the sacrament of the Real Presence of Jesus.
May they, too, be living signs of Your presence among the People of God.
Day Two
Opening Prayer
Saint Pio, Franciscan Friar
O God, Your servant Saint Pio heard the call of Saint Francis of Assisi and consecrated his life to You in the Franciscan Order of the Capuchin Friars.
We pray to You for all religious who, by observing the evangelical counsels, remind us that we have no lasting home on this earth, but look forward to the homeland that is to come, where You await us.
Day Three

Saint Pio, Bearer of the Stigmata
O God, who in the mysterious design of Your love willed that Saint Pio should bear in his body the stigmata as a sign of the Passion of Your Son Jesus, grant that we may always remember to carry our cross and deny ourselves, so that we may faithfully follow Christ.
Day Four

Saint Pio, Servant of Mercy
O God, You inspired Saint Pio to care for the sick and the needy, and he established a hospital in which Your divine providence and infinite love are made manifest.
Grant that we may put our faith into practice through works of fraternal charity, so that others may glorify You for the great things You continue to accomplish in the world.
Day Five

Saint Pio, Priest Gifted with Charisms
O God, through Your servant Saint Pio, You willed to continue the work of Your Son Jesus, who went about doing good and healing the sick.
Grant that we may take upon ourselves the care of those who are called to share in the sufferings of Christ, so that they may complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of the Church, His Mystical Body.
Day Six
Opening Prayer
Saint Pio, Minister of Forgiveness
O God, You granted Your servant Saint Pio the gift of discerning the depths of the hearts of repentant sinners, enabling him to understand at once their inner struggles, anguish, difficulties, and sincere intentions.
Through his priestly ministry in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, countless people found consolation and were able to continue along the path of goodness.
O Lord, make confessors living signs of Your infinite mercy. Grant that they may understand sinners, support them, and encourage all those who, through the grace of this sacrament, strive to become Your true children.
Day Seven

Saint Pio, Devoted to the Blessed Virgin
O God, Your servant Saint Pio had a fervent devotion to the Blessed Virgin and encouraged everyone to pray the Rosary as a means of strengthening unity within the Christian family.
O Lord, restore to all families who take Saint Pio as their patron the practice of praying the Rosary together, so that through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin they may receive the grace of harmony and faithfulness.
Day Eight
Opening Prayer
Saint Pio, Servant of the Eucharist
O God, through the daily celebration of Holy Mass, Your servant Saint Pio helped us understand the greatness of the mystery of the Eucharist within the Christian community.
Grant us the grace to understand the greatness of the gift of Your only-begotten Son, whom You sent to us.
He died for us and gave us His life, and in the Mass He offers Himself each day to teach us that our lives have no true meaning without self-giving.
Day Nine
Opening Prayer
Saint Pio, in the Glory of God
O God, You willed to give our suffering world the witness of men and women who took the Gospel seriously and lived it out in their daily lives.
We thank You for the Church, which raises to the glory of the altars so many of our contemporaries, making them living examples of Christian life for us.
May Saint Pio intercede for us, a shining example of a holy friar who devoted himself to prayer and dedicated his time to his brothers and sisters.
May our constant glorification of You, O heavenly Father, and our dedication to the brothers and sisters whom You place along our path be the goal of our journey toward holiness.
O heavenly Father, You raised Saint Pio upon the cross of this world so that he might draw everyone to Your Son Jesus.
I thank You because, through this saint, You have drawn me to Yourself, to Your Son Jesus, and to Your Holy Church.
