We never learned to take our first steps on our own feet… until we were let go.
We were never weaned from children’s milk to learn to chew… until we were let go.
We never understood that the world is bigger than our little home… until we were let go.
And we were never sure that without Him we can do nothing… until He let us go.
And we never realized that even if we owned every joy in the world but Him, we would remain sad… until He let us go.
So do not be saddened by the brief moments of being left alone in your life.
You may learn, be weaned, understand, or grasp some lesson.
But surely, afterwards,
“with great compassion He will gather you…!” (Isaiah 54:7)
