Santa Claus is sad!!!!
Santa Claus is sad because the world has forgotten whose feast it is: it has forgotten the Lord Jesus, the Child of the cave, who wants to be born in the heart of each one of us.
The noise of this world has changed the meaning of the feast: Christmas has become parties and dancing. Instead of getting ready for the Child of the cave to be born in their hearts, people get ready to eat and drink until they are drunk. Children have been distracted by Santa and presents and have forgotten whose feast it is. Santa comes to everyone, but he is not the one the feast is about: the feast is about the Lord Jesus.
Prepare your hearts, my brothers and sisters, and clean them of resentment, jealousy and envy, so that the Child Jesus may be born there.

And may love bring families together again, especially at this feast, around the Word of God made flesh. Tell the world that the Saviour is about to be born, that Emmanuel is about to be born, and that he needs the heart of each one of us, the warmest place where he can rest.
Tell the world that at this feast everyone should be like Saint Nicholas, helping the poor and needy in the name of the Lord Jesus, so that joy and peace may enter their hearts, God’s will may be done through each of us, and peace and love may reign in the whole world. Amen.
