Novena to All Saints

The Novena to All Saints is prayed for nine days to ask for the intercession of the holy men and women before God. The feast of All Saints is celebrated on November 1.

This novena includes a daily prayer repeated for nine days, followed by the Litany of All Saints and the closing prayer.

Prayer of the Novena to All Saints

To be prayed and repeated for nine days:

Glory to you, Saint (…), my beloved patron. You served God in your earthly life with complete trust, faith and love, and now you enjoy the vision of Him in heaven. You persevered and struggled on earth until death, and won the crown of eternal life.

Look now upon the dangers, difficulties and sufferings that surround me, and intercede for my needs and troubles, especially (mention your request…), so that I may glorify God in His saints. Amen.

Closing Prayer

O holy and righteous ones, you who endured with patience and love so many sufferings of soul and body and humbly accepted the Lord’s will in your lives, and whom the Holy Trinity has crowned with great glory, you now enjoy eternal happiness.

Help us, we pray, to bear like you, with patience and love, what the divine will asks of us, so that we may become that silent goodness which saves the world from the clutches of destructive sin. Amen.
