Prayer for the Beatification of Father Béchara Abou Mrad
O gracious Saviour, who never cease to pour out Your abundant graces upon Your priests, Your own inheritance, for their sanctification and for the good of Your people, we humbly beseech You to deign to glorify Your faithful servant, Father Béchara Abou Mrad, who walked before You in religious and priestly perfection and served You in righteousness all the days of his life. Show forth Your power in him, O Lord, if it be pleasing to You, so that he may shine like a radiant star in the sky of our Eastern Church, resplendent with the glory of her saints. Thus may all know that the fountain of holiness never runs dry in Your holy Church.
Be pleased to crown the head of Your faithful priest with the crown of the blessed, so that we may take him as a model of perfection and imitate his virtues, and that Your holy name may be glorified, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
