Prayer to Saint Mary Magdalene
Saint Mary Magdalene,
woman of many sins,
who through your repentance and conversion
became a cherished disciple of Jesus,
I thank you for your witness that Jesus forgives through the miracle of love.
You who already possess eternal happiness in His glorious presence, I ask you to intercede for me,
so that one day I may share with you in that same eternal happiness.
Amen.
Good Jesus, Saint Mary Magdalene was
one of the women who supported You and Your apostles during Your public ministry.
She wept with Your Blessed Mother and Saint John at the foot of Your Cross, and she helped to bury Your body.
Because she served You so faithfully, she was the first to see You risen from the dead.
I ask her to pray for me whenever I have the chance to help those who are dying or grieving the death of a loved one. Inspire me, Lord, to bring them Your comfort and consolation, to help them accept salvation, and to guide those left behind to entrust their loved ones into Your arms.
Saint Mary Magdalene, pray for us.
