Translation (meaning of the lyrics)
Refrain: The glory of Mary grows great from the East to the West.
Honour her, exalt her, crown her queen in your hearts.
– She has shone forth and been raised on high; her light knows no setting.
It was she who said, when she received grace: “All nations shall call me blessed.”
– Her Lord, the faithful Master, looked upon her and chose her,
and from the moment He created her, He kept her from every stain.
– She is your hope in your distress: listen, O sinners,
do not be afraid to come to her seeking refuge.
– Remember us and look upon us with the gaze of a tender mother;
comfort us and help us when the hour of death comes.
