Daily Prayer Before the Sacred Heart
O Jesus, whose Heart is full of compassion, all good and kind, You see me and You love me. You are merciful and forgiving, for You cannot see misery without wanting to heal it.
Behold, I place all my hope in You, and I trust that You will not abandon me and that Your graces will always exceed my hopes. Fulfil for me, O Jesus, all Your promises.
Grant me the graces I need in my state of life, bring peace to my family, comfort me in my trials, and be my refuge all my life and at the hour of my death.
If I am lukewarm in my faith, through You I will grow fervent; if I am fervent, I will rise toward perfection. Grant me, O Jesus, a special
grace to soften hardened hearts and to spread devotion to Your Sacred Heart. Write my name in Your adorable Heart
so that it may never be erased. And I ask You to bless my home, where the image of Your Sacred Heart is honoured.
