Novena for the Feast of the Annunciation
Hail, ever-virgin, Mother of God, throne of grace, miracle of the power of the Most High.
Hail, sanctuary of the Most Holy Trinity and Queen of the universe, Mother of mercy and refuge of sinners.
O loving Mother, drawn by your beauty and sweetness, your kindness and tenderness, I turn to you with confidence, a poor sinner, and I beg you to obtain from your beloved Son the favour I ask in this novena:
(state your request)
Obtain for me also, Queen of Heaven, true sorrow for my many sins and the grace to imitate the virtues you practised so faithfully, especially humility, purity and obedience.
And above all, I beg you to be my Mother and my protector, to receive me among your faithful children, and to guide me from your exalted throne of glory.
Do not reject my pleas, O Mother of mercy. Have pity on me, and do not abandon me in life or at the hour of my death.
Amen.
