Our Saviour revealed to Saint Bridget:
“Know that I grant great graces to all who, every day for twelve years, pray the Our Father and the Hail Mary seven times in honour of My Precious Blood, together with the set prayers. They will receive the following graces:
1. They will not pass through purgatory.
2. I will count them among the martyrs, as if they had shed their blood for the faith.
3. I will keep three members of their family, of their choice, in a state of grace.
4. I will save the members of their family, down to the fourth generation, from the fire of hell.
5. I will warn them of their death a month beforehand. If they die before the twelve years are complete, I will consider that they have fulfilled all the conditions.”
This devotion was approved by the Sacred Congregation for the Propagation of the Faith and by Pope Clement XII (pontificate 1730–1740). It was also confirmed by Pope Innocent X, who in turn made these revelations known.

Opening prayer
Jesus, receive my prayer, offered through my humble lips, into Your divine Heart, the dwelling place of love. I ask You to sanctify it, so that it may give the highest honour and joy to the Most Holy Trinity, whom You revealed to us on earth. May this petition fill Your blessed people, so that Your holy Wounds and the holy Blood that flowed from them may be glorified.
First mystery: the Circumcision
Eternal Father, through the immaculate hands of our Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You the first shedding of Your Son’s Blood at the Circumcision, in atonement for the sins of mankind and of youth, and for my own sins, so that first mortal sins may be abandoned, especially among my relatives.

Second mystery: the Sweat of Blood
Eternal Father, through the immaculate hands of our Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You the agonizing sufferings of the Heart of Jesus in the Garden of Olives and His sweat of blood, in atonement for all the sins of the heart and for my own sins, so that these sins may be abandoned and our love for the Lord and for our neighbour may grow.

Third mystery: the Scourging
Eternal Father, through the immaculate hands of our Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You the thousands of wounds, the bitter sufferings and the holy Blood of Jesus shed when He was scourged at the pillar, for the sins of the flesh, especially those of my relatives, for my own sins, and for the preservation of purity.

Fourth mystery: the Crown of Thorns
Eternal Father, through the immaculate hands of our Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You the wounds, the sufferings and the holy Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ caused by the crown of thorns, in atonement for the sins of the human spirit and for my own sins, so that these sins may be abandoned and the Kingdom of Jesus may spread on earth.

Fifth mystery: the Carrying of the Cross
Eternal Father, through the immaculate hands of our Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You the sufferings of Jesus Christ on the way to Calvary and His Blood, especially the wound of His shoulder, in atonement for sins against the holy teachings, so that they may be abandoned, and for true devotion to the Holy Cross.

Sixth mystery: the Crucifixion
Eternal Father, through the immaculate hands of our Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I offer You Your heavenly Son nailed and raised on the Cross, the wounds of His hands and feet, the three streams of His Blood shed for us, His utter self-emptying, His perfect obedience, the torments of His body and soul, His glorious death and its unbloody renewal in the holy Masses celebrated on earth: in atonement for all offences against holy vows and religious institutions; for the forgiveness of my sins and those of the whole world; for the sick and the dying; to obtain holy priests; for the renewal of the Christian family; for the strengthening of faith; and for the unity of all peoples in Jesus Christ and His holy Church, in every country where Christians are few.

Seventh mystery: the Piercing of the Side
Eternal Father, accept these glorious graces, the Water and the Blood that flowed from the side of our God Jesus Christ, for the needs of the holy Church and in atonement for the sins of mankind.
Blood of Jesus Christ, flowing from His Sacred Heart, wash me from all my iniquities and cleanse me of them.
Water of Christ, wash me from my first sins, cleanse me of them, save me, and save the poor suffering souls in purgatory.
