Sawt El Rab radio offers its condolences to the Lebanese Maronite Order and to the family on the passing of
Father Milad Tannoury, Lebanese Maronite monk, aged 42
(born in Qaa el-Rim, Zahle, in 1975),
after a terrible road accident on the Habboub – Annaya road in the Jbeil region, between his Volkswagen and a Jeep Cherokee. Father Tannoury was taken to Our Lady of Help Hospital, where he passed away…
Father Milad used to drive every day from the Monastery of Saint Maron in Annaya to Our Lady of Help Hospital to give Communion to the sick and accompany them spiritually as their chaplain…
He was ordained a priest in 2006 and began his priestly ministry in Canada, where he was the spiritual director of Sawt El Rab radio for three years.
He then served in Zahle, Lebanon. He played the role of the saint of Kfifane in a clip on Télé Lumière, and he ended his life as spiritual director of the Family of Saint Charbel and of the sick at Our Lady of Help Hospital in Jbeil…
Abouna Milad, pray for us before Jesus; and just as you used to sprinkle the radio with holy water, keep sprinkling graces from our beloved Jesus on the radio and its families. Pray for us, O saint, that we may be faithful to the mission of Jesus and love our Mother Mary as you loved her and prayed to her. Amen.
“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let your eternal light shine upon him;
may his soul rest in peace through the mercy of God. Amen.”
