Day One
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD! Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you.
O George, victor in the contest, since you are a champion among the martyrs, we gather today to praise you, for you have finished the race and kept the faith, and received from God the crown of your victory. Implore Him to deliver from corruption and danger those who faithfully keep your ever-venerable memory.

Day Two
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
For Your name’s sake I have waited for You, O Lord; my soul has waited for Your word, my soul has hoped in the Lord.
Glorious champion George, you rushed willingly into the contest with courage, resolve and confidence like a lion, disdaining the perishable body and openly caring for the imperishable soul; you were tested by many torments, like gold refined in the furnace. Intercede with Christ God for the salvation of our souls.

Day Three

More than watchmen for the morning, more than watchmen for the dawn, let the faithful wait for the Lord.
Glorious George, great among martyrs, you suffered with the Saviour and imitated His death by your voluntary death; so you reign with Him in splendour, clothed in shining purple of blood, adorned with the sceptre of your contest and distinguished by the crown of victory for ever.

Day Four
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with Him is plenteous redemption, and He will redeem the faithful from all their iniquities.
Saint George, armed with the breastplate of faith, the shield of grace and the spear of the Cross, you became invincible before your enemies, like a divine champion. And since you have defeated the hosts of demons, you rejoice with the angels in the heavenly chambers, guarding and sanctifying the faithful and saving those who call on you.

Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol Him, all peoples!
O George, victor in the contest, we have known you as a star rich in light, a sun shining on the horizon, a pearl of great price and a gleaming precious stone, a son of the day and a fearless champion among
the martyrs, and a support for the faithful. So we keep your memory with praise.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
For great is His steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures for ever.
Saint George, keep me and guard me when I travel by sea, when I journey on the roads and when I sleep at night. Keep my mind alert and guide me to do the Lord’s will, so that on the day of judgment I may find forgiveness for the sins I have committed in my life, I who take refuge under the shelter of your protection.

Day Seven
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
O soldier of Christ, George, you lived up to your name, for you carried the Cross on your shoulders and tilled the earth made barren by demonic error, uprooting the thorns of idol worship and planting the vine of the true faith. So healings pour out on the faithful throughout the world. Since you have shown yourself a husbandman beloved of the Trinity, we implore you to intercede for the peace of the world and the salvation of our souls.

Day Eight
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
Rejoice and be glad, soldier of the great King, George! For having scorned and turned away from earthly things and pleased God, you possess with Him eternal life in heaven; and your body drives every illness away from people, for Christ, whom you longed for, glorifies you, O blessed one.

Day Nine
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen.
O wise martyr, you distributed your earthly wealth to those on earth, and through your sufferings you inherited heavenly riches. Armed with the shield of the pure Cross, you humbled the pride of the tyrants. So you give to those in need divine gifts and graces of healing. O victor in the contest, implore Christ God to blot out our sins, we who hasten and take refuge with you and eagerly celebrate your holy memory.
