Novena to Saint Anthony of Padua
(feast day: June 13)
1 – Saint Anthony, light of the Church of beloved Jesus, patron of those who turn to you, comforter of the sorrowful and model of the highest virtues,
grant that we may walk in your footsteps and do in this life what pleases you and pleases God. Ask for us from Jesus our God relief, help and the forgiveness of sins. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
2 – Saint Anthony, faithful servant of the Virgin Mary,
we ask you, by the great joy that filled your pure soul when you held our Lord Jesus Christ to your heart, to look upon us
and obtain for us the graces and divine help we need in this life. Sanctify our souls, gladden our hearts, give us every noble virtue, keep hardships and misfortunes far from us, and put in our hearts love for God and neighbour. Amen.

3 – Saint Anthony, model of the Fathers in purity and holiness, patron of those devoted to you,
do not close your ears to our prayers and requests, but listen to me, your lowly sinful servant, and obtain for me fervent faith, firm hope and burning love, so that we may please God and ask Him for the graces we need for the salvation of our souls, saying to Him:
Give us, O God, the graces we need (ask for the grace here), help us to carry Your cross, and protect us from all hardships and dangers for ever. Amen.
