To all our fellow Christians who doubt the miracles worked through the saints by the grace of Christ, and today especially through Saint Charbel, the saint of Lebanon and its splendour throughout the world:
we invite them to turn to today’s reading from the Acts of the Apostles 9:31-43. As Saint Peter travels through the region of Lydda in Palestine, he meets a man named Aeneas who had been bedridden and paralysed for eight years, and says to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your own bed.” And so it happened.
What I want to say is that the Lord who allowed and granted the miracle through Peter on earth does the same in heaven. He allows and grants graces of healing and miracles through Peter and all his saints, first among them the Virgin Mary.
Nothing is impossible for the Lord, neither on earth nor in heaven.
Saints of God, men and women, who enjoy the vision of God, infinite Love, intercede for us with your pleas before your beloved Jesus, and obtain for us the healing we need to stay faithful to him. Amen.
Protect us.
