Prayer to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul
O holy Apostles Peter and Paul, great stars of the Church, I choose you as my patrons.
I rejoice with you, Saint Peter, prince of the Apostles, for you are the rock upon which God built His Church; and I rejoice with you also,
Saint Paul, for God made you a chosen vessel and a teacher of truth to the world.
Intercede for me always with God, and ask Him to grant me a living faith, a firm hope, a perfect love, graceful patience in adversity and deep humility in prosperity,
and great zeal in fulfilling my duties, so that, having overcome the temptations of the world, the devil and the flesh, I may be worthy to stand before the Chief Shepherd of souls,
Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with God the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
