Translation of the meaning
Refrain: May the grain of wheat sown in our hearts
die, grow and blossom into love;
may the people we meet along our paths
find your face in us, O Lord.
The story of your love, we have told it to everyone,
and there is no place where we have not written it;
maybe we have grown up and forgotten it:
make us small again, so that we understand its meaning.
Don’t let us forget the word you said of us:
“You are the salt of the earth and you are its light.”
Don’t leave us; stay and dwell with us always,
and let us be the most beautiful image of you.
You alone are our lamp in the darkness of the road,
