When the month of May comes and its roses open before us, a feeling of love and joy spontaneously flows into our souls,
like the morning dew that quenches the thirst of nature.
And we find rest. It is Mary, the flower of the morning, who in this blessed month of May keeps a yearly, lasting, eternal appointment with us, her children.
She looks upon us with her beautiful motherly face, to renew upon us the abundance of the graces of her Son Jesus.
We love you, Mary. And because we love you, and a lover gives the beloved the most beautiful thing he has, we have given you the most beautiful of our months in the course of the year:
the month of May, filled with the colours and fragrance of its roses. We are all yours, Mary.
