Translation of the meaning
Refrain: Under the shelter of your protection we take refuge, O Mary;
do not turn away our request when we call upon you.
O pride of creation, O best of all creatures,
O sea of gifts flowing over the world.
O gate of heaven, O Mother of redemption,
O spring of hope, O guiding light.
Have mercy on your servants who have become faithful to you
and who long for more from you at every moment.
