– سلوى القلوبِ قلبُ العـذراءِ نورُ الدروبِ نحوَ السمـــــاءِ
إنّ خُطانـا تَهفــــو إليـــكِ نُلقـي شَقانا بينَ يديـــــــكِ

Translation of the meaning
Comfort of hearts, the heart of the Virgin,
light of the paths that lead to heaven.
Our steps hasten towards you;
we lay our troubles in your hands.
O Mother, walk through the fullness of spring,
across the fields and the hillsides;
let the voice of prayer, above the mountains,
rise all through the nights.
Will you not turn misfortune away from us?
Will you not awaken hope within us?
Nothing can fill a wandering heart
but this song: “O Mother of God!”
