Christ is born, glorify Him!
On November 21, the Feast of the Entry of the Theotokos into the Temple, the Church begins chanting the Canon of the Nativity. To mark this occasion, we are launching the #صوت_الميلاد (“Voice of Christmas”) challenge on the Sawt El Rab Facebook page.
We all have a Christmas hymn that holds special memories: one our grandmother used to sing, one from our village, or one from our parish.
We invite you to sing your favourite hymn and share your voice, spreading the joy of Christmas to every home.
How to participate
- Record a short video of yourself singing your favourite Christmas hymn, either on your own, with your family, or with your choir.
- Share your video on Facebook using the hashtag #صوت_الميلاد.
- Add a sentence explaining what this hymn means to you.
A few tips
- One verse is enough, and so is a 30-second video.
- Sing in your own voice, without a prerecorded musical backing track.
- All languages are welcome.
📅 The challenge runs from November 21 to December 20, the beginning of the Forefeast of the Nativity. On Christmas Day, we will share a selection of our favourite submissions.
Every voice that glorifies the Lord has a place here.
