Translation of the meaning
What purity dwells in you! Its light never goes out. Remember us in your prayer, come to our aid and have compassion on us.
1. Our Mother the Virgin, you are a balm that heals wounds,
you are the pride of the peoples, you are the light of morning.
Shine with a radiant glory that gleams in the heaven of God,
intercede for us with him and give us the path of goodness.
2. Make our hearts compassionate and fill us with hope,
O refuge of every penitent when the hour of death comes.
We all walk toward you without fear or dread,
and we pray with longing and reverence to the Lamb.
