يـا والــدَة ربِّ الأزل وهيَ بتولٌ لم تَـــزَلْ

– بحقِّ السلامِ الذي تَلاه جبريلُ من قِبَلِ الإلــه
أعيــدي سَلاماً فَقَدْنــاه بِما قد فَعَلنا مِنَ الزلـل

Translation of the meaning
Hail to you, without ever tiring, O Star of the sea and of hope,
O Mother of the eternal Lord, who remain ever virgin.
By the greeting that Gabriel spoke to you on God’s behalf,
restore to us the peace we lost through our sins.
The Lord is with you for ever; he is your Son, born of you.
Woe to whoever turns away from you, and blessed is whoever holds fast to you.
You are rich in graces, and we, your children, are in want;
have pity on us when we repent: whoever comes to you finds hope.
You have become our Mother for all time, and your tender love covers us all;
so we cast our cares on you and find joy again.
Pour into hearts love for your Son, who lifts every sorrow,
and ask his forgiveness of sins for all who take refuge in you and plead.
