الآتي من حِضنِ ألآب قوتاً للعالمْ قَبِلَني،
حِضنُ العذراءِ الأمِّ النّقي، العذراءِ مريم، مِثلَ حبّة القَمحِ في الأرض الخصبة،
صِرتُ فوقَ المذبَحِ قوتاً للبيعة، هللويا وخُبزَ حياة.

Translation of the meaning
People: Alleluia! The Lord said: I am the life-giving bread,
come from the bosom of the Father as food for the world. The pure womb of the Virgin Mother, the Virgin Mary, received me
like a grain of wheat in fertile ground;
on the altar I became food for the Church. Alleluia, and bread of life.
