Prayer to Saint Rafqa
for her feast day
Saint Rafqa, bride of Christ and sharer in His mystery of redemption and salvation, we ask you, by your love for the Lord Jesus and the Virgin Mary:
watch over our children and our orphans… Be a light and guide for our young people who are searching for the truth; lead their steps toward Christ Jesus, your heavenly Bridegroom, so that, following your example, they may know that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that there is no peace or happiness except in Him, through Him and with Him. Bless our homes and sow in them love, joy and peace. Accompany fathers in their work and protect them from every danger; guide mothers in caring for their homes. Have compassion on our poor, comfort those among us who mourn. Help those who are weary and burdened by hardship and need. Heal our sick with the touch of your blessed hands and with a handful of earth from your holy tomb. Intercede for our departed.
Receive our visit to you, answer our prayers and petitions, and grant us the graces we need.
Our sister and our intercessor, teach us to offer our whole life to Christ Jesus and to say with you always:
