Rabbi jassadouka
ربـي جـسـدُك مـأكـلٌ حـقـاً ربـي دمـك مـشـربٌ حـقـاً
طـوبـى لـمـن يـرتـوي مـنـهـمـا
Rabbi jassadouka ma’kalon hakkan rabbi damouka machrabon hakkan touba liman yartawi minhouma
قـال الـربُّ أنـا الـكرمــــة انـتـم أغـصـانُ الـكـرمـة
كـالاغـصـانِ اثـبـتـوا فــيَّ تـأتــوا بـثـمـارٍ جَـمـّـة
Kala lrabou anal karma antom aghsanoul karma kal aghsani sbatou fiya ta’tou bisimaren jamma
مِـثـل الـهـائـمِ في الصحـراء يـبـحـثُ عـن قـطراتِ ماء
هـكـذا يـلهَـثُ قـلـبـي اليـك انـتَ الهِـدايـة انـت الرجـاء
Mislal ha2imi fil sahra’ yabhasou 3an katarati ma2 hakaza yalhasou kalbi ilaik antal hadaya antal raja2
مـن يـأكـلْ مـن خـبـزِ اللـه مـن يـشـربْ من خمـرِ اللـه
يـرثِ الحـيـاةَ الابـديــــة يُـعـطى السـعادةَ فـي دنيـاه
Ma ya2kol min 5oubzi lah man yachrab min 5amri lah yarisil hayatal ‘abadiya yo3tal sa3adata fi dounyah
Translation of the meaning
Lord, your body is true food; Lord, your blood is true drink.
Blessed is the one who drinks his fill of them.
The Lord said: “I am the vine; you are the branches of the vine.
Like branches, abide in me, and you will bear much fruit.”
Like one wandering in the desert in search of a few drops of water,
so my heart pants for you: you are the guiding light, you are the hope.
Whoever eats of the bread of God, whoever drinks of the wine of God,
will inherit eternal life and be given happiness in this world.
