The following prayers are said with trust on three consecutive days to ask for healing, together with some acts of devotion such as Confession, Communion and reading the Bible.
Day One:
Saint Rita, whose whole life was one long suffering offered with courage to the Lord, I implore you today, advocate of impossible causes, to obtain for us by your blessed and powerful intercession, from His divine mercy, the grace of healing that we ask of Him with all our hearts, in deep humility and complete submission to His holy will.
Grant, O saint, that our prayer may be heard, so that, thanking you for your help, we may offer thanks and praise to the infinite love of our heavenly Father.

Saint Rita, Lady of the roses, pray for our sick one.

Day Two:
Saint Rita, you who remained for long years nailed to a bed of pain, offering all your sufferings out of love for Jesus crucified, make us worthy, through your merits, to receive at your hands health of body and soul for the sick person for whom we implore you. Intercede for us with the Lord of life and death, that He may have pity on us in our troubles and, in His boundless mercy, grant us through your intercession the healing we humbly ask, in complete submission to His sovereign will, so that the grace of a speedy recovery may allow us to thank the merciful Lord for listening to our requests.

Day Three:
Saint Rita, you who endured with indescribable joy the sufferings caused by the miraculous thorn, have mercy on the one for whom we come to you today. May their healing inspire in them and in those around them a hymn of thanksgiving to the all-merciful Lord.
Saint Rita, sweet and powerful advocate, you who by your merits obtained wonderful miracles that made you a refuge in every difficulty, be pleased today to intercede for us with the Lord our Redeemer.
We place all our trust in Him and ask Him to hear us, for His greater glory.
