Parents’ Prayer for Their Children
Lord our God, almighty Father, who have given us the grace of having children and entrusted us with caring for them and teaching them, we place their future in Your hands.
Keep them from all evil, protect them from danger and deliver them from temptation. Make them steadfast in faith and persevering in prayer, and let their conduct in life be good.
Come to help us too, so that our behaviour may never cause them to stumble, but be a light that leads to what is good.
Grant us the grace to know lasting joy with them… And finally, after this life, make us worthy to be gathered together close to You in the heavenly paradise. Amen.
