Prayer to the Guardian Angel
O Angel who strengthened our Lord Jesus Christ, come and strengthen us too; come, I pray, and do not delay.
O Guardian Angel, glorious keeper of my soul,
you who shine in the beautiful heavens like a gentle, pure flame near the throne of the Eternal One, you come down to earth for me,
and lighting me with your splendour, lovely angel, you become my brother, my comforter and my friend.
