Translator’s note: the messages below are private revelations. According to Church teaching (Catechism, no. 67), private revelations add nothing to the deposit of faith, and no one is bound to believe them; to our knowledge, the Church has not officially recognized these messages as supernatural. They are translated here as they appear on the site.
Novena to the Precious Blood of Jesus
There are three novenas to the Precious Blood of Jesus. They contain messages said to have been given by Our Lord, Our Lady and a host of angels and saints to a Nigerian teenage boy with almost no schooling, named Barnabas Nwoye, from the village of Olo in Enugu State, Nigeria, between 1995 and 2003. According to these messages, Our Lord Jesus told young Barnabas that this was the greatest devotion he had given to the Church and the last he would give in this age; it would be the bridge that protects the Catholic Church, the remaining faithful and all those they love and pray for, during the bitter trials of the coming chastisement, and brings them all into the promised era of peace. The whole month of July is dedicated to devotion to the Precious Blood of Christ; the Church encourages practising it during this month, making novenas, and praying the Chaplet of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and the related prayers every day.
Second Novena to the Precious Blood of Jesus
Day One: Today Barnabas saw in a vision Our Lady coming down from the clouds. She was adorned with a white scarf and held a cross in her left hand and roses in her right. Her rosary hung at her side. As she came down, she was singing. When she arrived, she said:
“My children, I have come today to work with you and to show you all the loving tenderness of my motherly grace. Be happy and rejoice with heaven in this devotion. I am the Mother of Jesus Christ; I come to you so that you may love my Son and console him in his suffering.
The wound in the Sacred Heart of my Son causes him great pain because of the sins of the world. The sins of the world are many. People do not want to heed the warnings of heaven. Their sins increase every day. Pray always, pray for sinners, pray that many may change their lives.
My children, I have told you this before; now I repeat it to you and to the world. Pray: ‘Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, heal the wounds of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.’ I say that many wounds will be healed, for the sins of the world are increasing. Pray: ‘Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, save us and the whole world.’ I assure you that many will be saved and sinners will return in repentance.
My children, I am giving you my last warning about the coming chastisements. Know today that heaven has approved this great purification. They say, ‘Father, only purification will bring the new world.’ My children, do not pray that the chastisement may not come. I say, do not pray that Holy Mass may not be banned for a time. For if this does not happen, the great darkness will not come.
Know today that the computer of the underworld has come out into this natural world. Soon you will hear of it. This computer has the power to control the whole world. The hour of Satan is fast approaching. The day of great darkness is coming. The day of great persecution is coming. Scripture has said it. Read Daniel, chapter 8.
Before the terrible day, the divine sacrifice will be banned. Pray, pray, and teach others how to pray. Pray to save many souls. Show holy love to one another. Accept daily suffering. Be strong in your faith so as to welcome the coming persecution. My children, are you ready to offer me your love? I say, are you ready to suffer martyrdom? Many will lose their faith and worship the wicked man.
I am the brightest star in the clouds. My Immaculate Heart will shine on my children. I will protect all who consecrate themselves to me, all who live holy lives. Tell the world that the Precious Blood will save all who call on it. Through the Precious Blood many souls will be saved. Honour and adore the Precious Blood of my Son and Lord Jesus Christ.
My children, let the cross be fixed on your door. Pray with your cross always. Live with it. By this sign you will conquer; I am near to help you. Remain in the peace of heaven. I bless you all.”
Meditation for Day One:
On this first day of the second novena, our holy Mother Mary enters the scene. The presence of a mother in any tense situation brings hope and comfort. Our Blessed Mother comes to explain the reasons for the chastisement: according to the message, it is the only way to purify the world of sin. She reminds Barnabas and the praying group not to pray against the chastisements and the banning of Holy Mass. All of this is linked to the vision of the prophet Daniel. She reminds all her children to prepare courageously for the great persecution, persevering in devotion to the Precious Blood of Jesus, presented as the only means of safety. We must always heed the Mother’s instructions. We must take her Immaculate Heart as our refuge, a safe place of shelter. Today we pray that we may all take refuge in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Day Two: Today Barnabas saw in a vision the Archangel Saint Michael with the armies of heaven, marching and singing the great songs of war. They all carried swords, but the Archangel Michael carried a chalice full of the Precious Blood. As they marched and sang, a cloud came down from heaven and covered the whole place. Then a cross appeared on which Our Lord was hanging. Blood flowed constantly from his wounds.
The Archangel Michael, still holding the chalice, appeared with two cherubim. They bowed and adored Jesus Christ suffering on the cross. Then the Archangel Michael said: “Son of man, receive the most holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.”
Barnabas received them. Then he saw a great crowd coming from distant lands to the mountain to receive the most holy Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. After a while, the Archangel Michael appeared again, this time carrying a sword, and said: “Children of God, listen to the voice of heaven and flee for your lives. I am Michael the Archangel, chief and commander of the heavenly armies. I have come to teach you and remind you. May the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ cover you all. Children of God, the spiritual war has begun. The enemy is not asleep. He has fought and conquered many souls. The enemy has sent all his forces onto the battlefield, because he knows that his time is short.
Children of God, this is the hour of the great drought, the hour of evil. Children of God, Satan reigns in this hour; who will escape it? The evil spirit has caused war in the holy Church, in families, in schools and in businesses. Cardinals are fighting one another, bishops are against one another, the war in the spirit is growing. They have caused spiritual lukewarmness in many souls. They have deceived many hearts so that they can no longer pray to the living God. They have poured out on God’s people the spirit of lies and pride. This spirit breeds lust in many hearts.
Children of God, Satan and his agents cannot rest until they have conquered all people. This lust breeds immorality and adultery. See, there are many innocent unborn children in the cloud. Their number grows every minute of the hour. The enemy has used many souls. Many souls are possessed by Satan. They worship the evil spirit and attack the children of God. Children of God, the war has begun! The spirits of the air are fighting you. The spirits of the water are fighting you. The living spirits are fighting against you. Their natural agents are fighting against you. Who will win the battle? Many souls will die in sorrow. The faith of many will weaken. Listen: the enemy has occupied the universe. They are at the top of government. They sit on the thrones of governments. They are coming in; look, they are sitting, they are sitting on the thrones of governments. Who will escape this terrible hour of Satan?
Children of God, await the coming persecution with faith. But, children of God, be happy, for the Blood of Jesus Christ has overcome Satan. Through the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ we will defeat the enemy again. Call on the Precious Blood, all you who are spiritually asleep, and the Blood of the spotless Lamb will wake you. Revere the Precious Blood: all who have been deceived by the enemy will be saved. Children of God, call all people to console and revere the Precious Blood through this prayer; let all families consecrate themselves to the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Our Lord will save them by this, and our enemy will be defeated again and driven back for ever.
Great is this devotion. Whoever consoles and adores Our Lord constantly through this prayer will not be lost. His descendants will be converted. The heavenly armies will fight for him, and he will join the heavenly army after his death. Pray much now; soon a time will come when souls will be in confusion and will find it hard to pray. At that time the divine ears will be far away. My children, hold fast to your faith. Be wise: the enemy will test you, and many will fall. The last novena will be difficult; only a few will complete it. The Father will not allow anyone to frustrate his commands. Happiness and peace will follow all who complete and practise the devotion well in this great month. The Father will bless you. Love and obey the Church. I am fighting for you all.”
Meditation for Day Two: The Archangel Michael is the leader of the heavenly warriors and the protector of the universal Church. That is why he speaks of the crises in the Church: cardinals and bishops at war with one another. Many fervent members of the faithful are troubled by the ambiguity and falsehoods that have made their way into the Church’s pulpits. The Archangel explains that this is part of the evil one’s plan. He represents the heavenly armies, who assure us of their defence in the time of trouble if we remain faithful in adoring the Precious Blood of Jesus. The coming battle is presented as the last, and we are assured of victory through perseverance in prayer. Today we pray for the help of the holy angels in our spiritual battles.
Day Three:
Our Lady appeared to Barnabas in a vision with a palm branch in her hand and said: “Peace from heaven be with you all. Your devotion delights heaven. I am the Mother of the suffering Jesus Christ. Today is the last day of the three-day novena. Heaven is happy; your prayers have thrown many kingdoms of the evil spirit into confusion. Your effort pleases the Most Holy Trinity. My children, you are about to enter the hour of the great pilgrimage. Pray that you may complete the last novena. Pray much for the people who will join you and complete this great hour of prayer.
The enemy will fight you all. Many will come later, and my Son will send them back. Some will fall asleep and not wake up to take part in the devotion again. The faith of many will weaken, because they did not know and their eyes were not open. Families will attack their children fiercely. Many people will fight this devotion. My children, pray much, pray much that nothing may hinder you. Some will be ill and unable to take part. Even death will hinder some. Happiness and joy will follow those who have practised this devotion with true sincerity. The coming chastisement will not overcome them.
Remember, my children: after this great month, no power will be able to stop this devotion. The Church will approve it when I raise my protecting hands. Pray much, offer your daily sacrifices for the rest of the novena. Prepare to make it in a great way. My children, the last day of this month will be great, very great, so great that everyone who completes this devotion will rejoice! Their families will repent and love their Creator and God. I will protect them, and my Son will save them by the power of his Precious Blood. My children, the Eternal Father needs the voices of many people in prayers of consolation and adoration.
Let all who will make the last novena say these prayers in groups and sing them with one spirit. Carry your cross, show your love to the suffering Jesus Christ. Meditate on his sufferings when you pray: you will gain many indulgences. Obey all the warnings that come from heaven and be ready to welcome the coming chastisement. My children, pray much for your city; pray, pray much, many are waiting for salvation. They are looking for my saving power. But when they see it they do not recognize it; they hear of it, and yet they join the forces of evil in mocking it. Pray that their eyes may be opened, that they may see, and that their ears may be opened and they may hear.
I say, pray and break hardened hearts. Many people will hear of this devotion and save themselves. My children, when will your people know of it? Listen, my children: heaven’s aim here is to teach the world how to pray. Let all people revere the price of their salvation, the Blood that saved the world from sin. All generations will adore you, O Precious Blood of salvation. This devotion contains all the devotions to my Son and to the Passion of my Lord. Heaven always reveres the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ through these prayers. Prepare for the next novena, soon; it will contain great teachings for the world. (Silence.) My children, learn how to show love to one another. Teach people the way of truth. Take your families, relatives and friends with you and flee for your souls. The great trials are coming. Many souls will perish. Build your faith on the rock, Jesus Christ, my Son. Make people’s faith stronger through your teaching. My children, the wicked man is in Rome now. Pray for the Pope, pray that his faith may be strong. Soon you will hear the news. Do not be afraid, do not move from place to place; just pray and practise this devotion.
You will see many agents of Satan and hear of their deeds. They will attack my priests and destroy many tabernacles. Do not be afraid, be strong in your faith. My children, the faith of many people will weaken. They will worship the beast. I tell you, pray much now and be consecrated to the Precious Blood of my Son, and you will be saved. Everything outside the Precious Blood of my Son will suffer greatly. Love me. I am with you all. Remain in the peace of heaven.”
Meditation for Day Three:
On this last day of the three-day novena, our Blessed Mother appears again. With her comforting words, she speaks once more of the activities of the evil one and his agents, who will fight against this heavenly devotion but will not succeed. On the contrary, according to the message, the Church will confirm this devotion in due time, at a sign from the Queen of Heaven. She then explains that this devotion brings together all the devotions dedicated to Our Lord’s Passion. That is why it is so powerful, and why the demons and their agents fear and attack it. Through perseverance in prayer and consecration to the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, we will be saved.
Today, let us pray that devotion to the Precious Blood may spread throughout the world.
